Lab Technician Opportunity - Egham, Surrey We have an opportunity for a driven and ambitious Lab Technician to join our exciting new business. You will establish and run our Regional Lab at Egham, so that it provides the South Region of our business with best in class technical support and quality control. You will be responsible for: • Carrying out product compliance testing relating to the ready mix concrete and aggregates businesses to current European Standards, both within the regional laboratory and on site, in the field, when required. • Inputting and interpreting test data. • Communicating any non-conformances, with a view to ensuring that positive corrective action is taken. • Maintaining awareness of site practices and quality procedures, and taking action where these may adversely affect product quality. • Actively managing and controlling technical equipment calibration within a set schedule. • Ensuring that a high standard of Health & Safety is maintained within the laboratory. • Contributing to training as required. You will be an experienced Technician who likes to work in a "hands on" role and have the personal values which will enable you to positively represent our business. City & Guilds Concrete Technology Part 1 & 2 or equivalent experience and previous Laboratory Experience in concrete testing are essential.
