Labor Day brunch at the Popovichs. My wonderful sister-in-law, Margo shared some her garden bounty. Whipped up mini crustless quiches using Margo Popovichs zucchini and carrots. Then I requested zucchini bread recipes. Kathy Balbo, Lyn Thompson Scheidel and Myrtle Sharka came to the rescue. All three were pretty similar and as my dear friend Myrtle always says you gota make it your own. I used King Arthur white whole wheat flour kingarthurflour/flours/, replaced a 1/2 cup of sugar with 1/3 cup agave and added 1/3 cup of mini chocolate chips (because I love chocolate.) Dale gave two thumbs up.
