Labor Day signals the end of summer but it also means the Iron Horse is only six weeks away. Here are some things we have recently finalized for this years race. The Midway Baptist Church is on board to offer some new perks on race morning. They are offering these as a fund raiser for a 2015 mission trip to Haiti. They will offer the following: - Coffee and snacks before the race - Block party with a bounce house for the kids - Food, restrooms and a place to sit down and relax for family and friends of runners Were excited to have the Midway Ministerial Association back again to offer breakfast for race spectators. This has been VERY popular in years past and is a great place to hang out and grab a bite while your family or friend is running. Finally, Crank & Boom Craft Ice Cream will be back again offering ice cream at the post race finish party. This was a BIG hit last year. Runners love ice cream especially after running 13.1!
