Labor not for the meat which perished, but for that meat which endure unto everlasting life, which the Son of man shall give unto you: for him hath God the Father sealed. John 6:27 { MY input: Many” seek God for self gain/gratification. They attends church meeting looking for the bread and loaves. Homes, cars, high paying jobs, fame, partners and glory. Not seeking for the knowledge and the wisdom of God’s word, in-order to be a blessing to others. Yet” some desires to have a preacher that preaches prosperity, saying that prosperity of God is to gain worldly goods such as, houses, cars, money, fame and all one’s desires, heaven here on earth. Jesus said unto him, The foxes have holes, and the birds of the air have nests; but the Son of man has not where to lay his head. Matt 8:20 Are we better then Jesus? [Prosperity in God is not in things that perish, it is to know God. Study to show thyself approved unto God, a workman that needed not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth. 2 Tim 2:15 If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me. Matt 16:24 {We are in the army of God, it’s not about you, what you want or desire. For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world. Isn’t this what being preach about prosperity? 1 John 2:16
