Laboratory Administrative Assistant Location: Buffalo Job Code: 14-14A-003 # of openings: 1 Description EMSL Analytical, Inc. is seeking a full time Laboratory Administrative Assistant for its Buffalo, NY location. This is a support position to the entire laboratory, including the manager and analysts. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Receive environmental samples and log-in/data entry Chain of Custody into LIMS system Inspect samples to ensure sample integrity is retained and that the packaging is not compromised Generate analytical reports and enter data produced by analysts into the computer system for the production of the final, client ready report. Reports are generated in the priority in which the lab manager assigns them. Giving results to the clients. Clerical duties such as invoicing, answering phones, filing, faxing, assisting clients, scanning, mailing, etc. as necessary Assist with customer services client questions via phone and e-mail Requirements: HS Degree or equivalent Must be proficient in MS Office and typing Excellent communication and computer skills Excellent customer service skills – customer service experience is a plus Willing and able to work in a fast-paced environment and multi-task Must be able to prioritize work assignments Hours: Tuesday to Friday, 10:30 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. and Saturday 9:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., Some extra hours and or weekend work may be required to meet business demands.
