Labrador Citys Town Engineer expressed concern during the town council meeting that town is becoming complacent during boil orders. Hes worried that public might brush off advisories - which could pose health risk if a biological threat is detected in the water. Public works does not believe we have a problem with our water. They say a new laboratory for testing has been introduced in the Labrador City hospital but the advisory still comes from a team in Happy Valley-Goose Bay. Says that they must follow advisory order from Service NL.
