Labs Tuesday morning, pray we pass counts...and say an extra prayer for our nurse to get the needle in the first try! Last week was pretty traumatic. On Wednesday, we hope to have chemo and Layla will also attempt her hearing test...she did not like the first attempt as she was super duper tired, and we had to cancel the second appointment due to time restraints at chemo. I do not feel Layla has any hearing loss, but we will check to find out if that nasty ole tumor is damaging yet another area. Please say a prayer for easy blood return at Duke...last week the extra prayers worked and our day and baby girl were great. As we are in our first month of new treatment, we have to be extra careful with Laylas immune system not knowing exactly how this new drug will effect her. This weekend she picked up a runny nose. Im hoping its just the weather, and not anything more. She acts fine, just gotta be cautious. Her appetite has dropped a little, and we had hoped this would give her more of an appetite. Pray that Layla tolerates this new chemo and does not become sick until we figure out her exact dosage and that she does not become allergic to it either. Thank you all for your continued support and prayers. Layla and God still have this all under control!
