Lack of leadership qualities costed us the game vs Hwange. CAPS - TopicsExpress

Lack of leadership qualities costed us the game vs Hwange. CAPS players — Dube, Alifandika, Tendai Samanja, Tapiwa Khumbuyani, Dominic Mukandi, George Nyirenda and Stephen Makatuka and Chimutimunzeve — were shown yellow cards for scaling the security fence to use an undesignated entry point from the break. When u go to Hwange its like u are going into the African Safari were teams get a rude awakening from match officials. This has been the norm for over two decades in our football hence it comes as no suprise. Each time Hwange play their home games vs Mashonaland teams, they get refrees from Matebeleland region and the treatment is always rude. Its a different script though epecially when Highlanders travel to Hwange. No wonder its easier for them to win it there than at BF. My bigges blemish to the whole Caps utd team from the coaches to the players is that all of them know exactly wat was awaiting them. The refree of the day Bonamali Bwanali who doesnt even sound Zimbabwean was ready to attack from the first minute and for sure he did. I am sure of all the Caps utd team members who travelled to Hwange yesterday, they have once been there at the Colliery before yesterday including even the Caps utd security guys. This kind of treatment should have been expected and thus a counter plan must have been put in place. The other thing is the Caps utd squad had so many ex Hwange junior players that inc Dominic Chungwa, Stephen Makatuka and Tongai Mangwendere. These guys were supposed to warn their teammates if not just remind them of what kind of staff to expect. I wonder what influence Twine Phiri has to the refree s committee as he also is fullly aware of the rough treatment teams afore mentioned get when they travel to such places like Hwange, Bulawayo and Zvishavane. Surely he must do something to make the playing field flat. No wonder y our football is going nowhere. The state of the game is just bad , sour and rotten.
