Ladies - am looking for some advice with a unit dilemma. We have this one kgirl going into her 3rd year.who is having some issues(not behaviorally) She is much more mature than the others, and her best friend at Guides(my co-leaders daughter) did not return this year because she went on to do something else. Girl A is also going thru some emotional issues with her parents seperation. We cannot have the daughter back and there every week to keep girl A interested and comfortable. Mom says she is loving Guides and wants to return but is afraid we will be upset with her. I have reassured Mom that is not the case and her daughter is always greeted with enthusiasm, warmth . I am not wanting to lose her. I think she is definitely much more mature, but we are uncertain of how to help her. I did think that maybe as part of her program we could ask her to do some planning or work on badges the others are not(do like 2 seperate plans for her and the others) Hope Ive explained myself well enough. Really want to see this young lady come back and do so successfully in her own eyes. HELP?????
