Ladies and Gentlemen, as Uhurus case is about to be declared a mistrial, I pose serious questions we need to mitigate as KENYANS: What should happen to the suspects in the Waki Envelope? To answer this question objectively and not to make the blunder and flip flop positions that the politicians did, is to answer assuming you are one of the named. If indeed Uhuruto believe they were framed and did not use this defense merely as a strategy to beat the ICC indictment, are they vindictive or forgiving? Have they themselves undergone trial and have been acquitted or should they also be tried in local jurisdiction like they argued about protecting African state sovereignty? Instead of preaching peace and forgiving mere Migori demonstrators, shouldnt Uhuru use the presidents power of mercy to forgive all who caused and inflicted 2007/2008 PEV? Lastly, shouldnt the push for the constitution referendum include this fundamental question?: IN THE ABSENCE OF ANY COMPETENT, INDEPENDENT AND FAIR COURT BOTH LOCALLY & AND EVEN AT THE HAGUE SHOULD WE KENYANS FORGIVE, RECONCILE AND FORGET OUR DARK PAST AND MOVE ON, OR SHOULD WE THE PEOPLE OF THE REPUBLIC OF KENYA, BY A SIMPLE MAJORITY VOTE COMPEL PARLIAMENT, JUDICIARY AND EXECUTIVE TO FORM AN INDEPENDENT TRIBUNAL AND TRY ALL NAMED SUSPECTS OF THE 2007/2008 PEV?
