Ladies and gentleman, this summer an elite team of Kentish lads known collectively as A World of Yurt will be driving 10,000 miles to the ancient capital of Mongolia, Ulaanbaatar from the renowned Woburn Safari park (near the beautiful Milton Keynes). The team consists of the following outstanding young men: Charlie Patrickson, Owen Lewis, Reuben Santer and Tomas Young. Why might they be doing that? I hear you ask; well its all in aid of charity you see, specifically the UK registered charity GoHelp, which aims to provide and improve access to primary healthcare and education in communities across Mongolia. They also run many other worthwhile projects around central Asia. Our primary fundraising goal for GoHelp is £1000 to be raised before the start of the rally in July; we think we can do better than this ladies and gentlemen, but only with your support. Over the next six or seven months, the four of us will put ourselves through intense physical and mental strain in a series of fundraising endeavours for your enjoyment. These may well include such frighteningly dangerous feats as sponsored runs, bike rides, pub quizzes, BAKE SALES and god knows what else. Aside from these fundraising opportunities, we also accept online donations through our justgiving page: justgiving/CutthroatPirates this is a totally secure and very simple method of donating and it all goes straight to the charity. We will update this group regularly, well we aim to at least, with news, pictures, videos and whatever else we think is relevant and/or amusing, so why not check it out now and then while youre procrastinating.
