Ladies and gents, I am about to ask for a tiddly favour. The scenario is this: as you may have noticed, our little running group is based out of a little shop called Runners Need, which just happens to be where John and I spend our lives trying to help guide and motivate the runners of north London and beyond. Currently, the Google review that shows up on top when one offers runners need camden into the gaping maw of the Googlebeast is not just underwhelming; its actually inaccurate. It concludes: Prices run steep for at best average customer service. In fact - putting aside the queston of service - we offer a price match promise that makes us considerably stronger on price than our rivals. As sad as this sounds, we (and I include Hope, Max, Rhalou, Malik, Matt in this too) really put our hearts and souls into giving people the very best advice we can and making this a place that really helps people in their running. If youve got any kit off us and not been horribly disappointed, got a Google account, and got five minutes spare, then do please consider giving us a quick write up. Im offering nowt in return, thatd be a bit dodgy. Were not asking for nepotistic hyperbole, we just want the information that the web spews back at strangers searching for us to more accurately represent the enthusiasm, generosity and good humour of the people we see and speak to in real life. xxx
