Ladies.. gents.. Motswana are go tsamaya ke go bona... nna kare go tsamaya goa lapisa... Ive been to gc, maun, shakawe n back to maun in just two days... n later on its back to gc... now, during this long trips Ive learnt a lot of things... first thing is first.. Botswana is a big n beautiful Country... we really are a diverse nation... maabane whilst in shakawe I visited a small village just outside the village.... n there I managed to make a few friends( I just told them.. you are my friends! N they said yes!.. so our friendship bloomed)... they seemed like nice guys at first... then rebo re tsaa dikgang... now, guys almost always talk about girls when there is a group of them... so thats what we were talking about. .. tota ke nna yo ke simolotseng kgang ya teng.. I just asked bakae banyana ka kwano majita?(I regret asking such an innocent normal question)... a shocking conversation followed after that question.... these guys talked about: - beating up their girlfriends - beating up the families of their girls if they tried to intervene in any way - stabbing them - knocking their teeth off - having 10 girls n making sure they all know about it - not buying anything for their girlfriends - ga gona mo gotweng ke mo perioding N they were boasting about it... so after they finished talking about their devilish ways... they turned to me n asked wena o ba dira jang banyana sware?... I managed to pick my lower jaw off the ground n responded... now from what I had just heard.. I didnt want to sound lame to them... I had to say something that would make them respect me... nna ngwanyana ke mo sota bo mr... ke mo rekela fake ya brazilian hair...!!.. it seemed very evil to me at that time... n while saying that, I kept on looking around to make sure my girlfriend wasnt there to hear me(of course she was in another town far away).... ke boi.. these guys didnt even know what the hell I was talking about... but they convinced themselves that it was a very bad thing that would get a girl in line... they reminded me of some coloured friends of mine from South Africa(makutwane!).. All this got me thinking.... we always complain about the people we are with, the life we are going through, our problems, our relationships.... if god was to reveal everything that other couples n people were going through.... I bet u some of us would just run to our partners n marry them immediately... there are people out there who have it worst people... ba bangwe u are lucky u got boyfriends/girlfriends who take care of u... buy u stuff n love u... but we always have to complain about nothing really... comparing your man to the man next door... mr john o reketse mosadi wa gagwe benz... wena u cant even afford a March!.... let god reveal Mr Johns house... wa go ithela ele gore john gaa tsogelwe!!.. mma john ene gaa tshole!!.. be thankful guys... I dont know much of the bible. .. but gatwe, god gives u what you need not what u want!!.. hehehe.. um in touch with my god today... good day.
