Ladies, please don’t be with a man who feels #Threatened by your success, career- wise or any other way. A real man is proud of every achievement you make. Its Okay to hold back on your #Career because of children or other pressing responsibilities life throws your way, but when it comes down to the point when he just cant #stand you having something more than him, then that should act as a #Warning bell. Such men are often quite #Obsessed with the #women in their lives, and women think that’s because they’re in love with them – but couldn’t be far from the TRUTH. See, such men aren’t in love with you, they are in love with the #Power they hold over you- they base their entire identities on the fact that they Dominate you, that they are somehow your ‘lords’ even. Men and women were created to compliment each other – to love and cherish and help each other succeed in this life and the hereafter. But when a man uses his status as ‘the head of the house’ to Manipulate you to #Strip away your Dreams and Goals in life (assuming they’re appropriate for your faith/lifestyle), then he is simply not #Respecting you. Don’t let being a Good wife or a Good girlfriend Mislead you into being someone’s Slave. Because chances are, at that point, you are simply being #Emotionally / Psychologically Abused without knowing it. It disheartens me seeing so much of this going on, and the women suffering in silence because they are too afraid to lose their men. Even if we need to hold out longer, lets please hold out for ‘Men’, and not these over-grown school-yard bullies who make women the target of their silly mind games.
