Lads as you are all probably aware. Training at Chase Town Friday at 8pm. Will text to remind tonight or tomorrow. Squad will be announced afterward. In regards to last nights committee meeting. A number of items were discussed. 1. Summer Break. it has been decided that for the two weeks of the World Cup we will be having a break so as to recharge, recover if need be and then to have a definite difference between one season and another. Once the World Cup finishes we will hit preseason harder than before. There will be socials during the world cup. Last week of June to end of first week of July I believe it is. 2. Awards Ceremony is being worked on by MM. He will announce developments / arrangements in March. It WILL be a suit up evening. There will be blue ties to buy soon. 3. Summer Family Activities we will be arranging more family or girlfriend friendly socials during the summer to get fans and other people more involved. Committee will release more info when a plan starts to emerge. Examples : Alton Towers ... Beacon Park Picnic / other sports day... may sound odd to some of you but it will be a good laugh. 4. Finances looking healthy. Everything is paid however MM is owed over £350. No cause for alarm however. All under control. 5. Xmas Meal went reasonably well considering its late arrangement. A date for next Xmas will be arranged in the summer. With payment and numbers being dealt with sooner rather than later. MM will call everyone who confirms to sort out meals instead of relying on Facebook as messages can be missed. 6. Player debts. It was brought to the attention that possibly a few people were unhappy with how debts were communicated. After lengthy debate it was unanimously decided that naming and shaming was the best way and will continue for the health of the club. If you want the reasons do give me a shout and I will fully explain. 7. Player of the month was decided by manager, two non playing members of the committee and the MotMs for the month. It will be announced after the next game with an award. 8. Committee roles. We have decided to try and make it clearer that if you have a problem and may not want to speak to Chris or Matt in fear of losing your place o whatever other fears you may have. You have Gilbert, Twist and Joel to speak to as well as Paul and Sophie. They may be able to answer questions or find out for you without naming you. If anything is unclear, we are all hear to help.
