Lake Macquarie man David Paull has been an ecologist for several decades, working for the New South Wales Office of Environment and Heritage in recent years. He quit last month and has now released an open resignation letter which was sent to the Environment Minister Rob Stokes. Mr Paull is scathing about government policy and says he cannot agree to the environment playing second fiddle to mine and gas developments.
