Lake Vyrnwy Half Marathon takes place this afternoon. Many of you will know SDN Member & Volunteer Vic Davies ran Shrewsbury Marathon for us in June 2013. We are so grateful to Vic and his family for supporting us and to those who sponsoredhim/us. Unfortunately a few weeks ago Vic picked up a calf injury and it has been touch and go whether Vic would run today. Great news is-Vic is running and will be wearing the SDN tee-shirt. Joining him is Ali Staples (daughter of Peter Staples our newsletter editor) Please if you are there this afternoon give a shout for Ali and Vic as they raise awareness of SDN.
