Lakeway is getting a new playground and we need your help installing it on August 16 & 17th! We need 12 volunteers to work from 8 am to 4 pm on Friday, August 16th. As a volunteer you will help unload all of the heavy playground parts from the 18 wheeler delivery truck. We also need someone to provide a power auger or Bobcat with an auger attachment which will be used to dig all the holes for the playground poles. On Saturday, August 17th, we will need 20 volunteers to work from 7 AM to 2 PM to help assemble the playground and spread the new rubber mulch. Those who volunteer on Saturday, should bring a rake or shovel if you have one. Lastly on both days we will need volunteers to provide food and drinks for all of our workers. This isn’t heavy work, but it is very important never the less. If you can be counted on for helping with this project, and we do need your help, please call me at Lakeway, and let me know which day you can help and what tools you can provide. 22 tons of rubber mulch has already been delivered, and now we need your help. The children of those who volunteer will be the first ones allowed on our playground when it opens on Monday, August 19th. Thanks in advance for volunteering, your help is greatly appreciated."
