Lamoille Union is very pleased to present two One-Act plays this year, on March 12 and 13. The first play is called “Harrys Hotter at Twilight,” a crazed mash-up parody of the Harry Potter and Twilight series with references to Lord of the Rings, Star Wars, and Alice in Wonderland, It features invisible rabbits, armies of babies, murderous lunatics, evil gourmets and much more. The second play is “CRAZY JACK,” based on a book by award-winning author Donna Jo Napoli. Forget everything you ever thought you knew about Jack and the Beanstalk! The tale is enriched with a romance between Jack and a neighbor girl, and the mysterious disappearance of Jacks father. The characters and themes are fully three dimensional in this delightful if somewhat disturbing retelling of the traditional favorite. The ending just may make you cry...with happiness. The performances are open to the public, at 7 pm on Wednesday March 12 and Thursday March 13. Tickets are $5 and are available at the door.
