Lana and I spent Monday at The Royal Marsden, because shes been on 2 courses of antibiotics due to a chest infection they wanted to check her out before her scan and general anaesthetic on Monday 15th. The team have decided not to compromise Lana and have cancelled the scan on the 15th, wishing to reschedule for 22nd. 😢 I could cry!! This means we will not have the results until the new year, our hopes of a relaxing Christmas with our girls has now gone. Parents going through this now how scanxiety takes over all your emotions until you receive those results. We wanted to really focus on all the positives this Christmas, we will still try but that niggle will still be eating away in our sub conscious. I hate you Cancer, I hate how youve ripped through my family this year, taken our daughters baby and toddler year away, leaving Ophelia with questions we shouldnt have to answer and how you continue to make us live in fear. No one should have to take this journey with their beloved son or daughter. xx
