Landslide by Fleetwood Mac This was filmed by a dear friend, Steve, earlier this year. I played this song at Kristine Elliss funeral in honor of her life and passing. She was a good friend, fun roommate, and profound spiritual guide at a very important time in my life. We used to listen to Fleetwood Mac for hours. Shed say, Here comes Stevie! when I came home from class singing Rhiannon up the stairs. I asked her one night what her favorite song was and she played Landslide. I watched her sink into some nostalgic/dreamy state of mind and sat with her listening in silence. She was so moved by what Stevie Nicks represented as a powerful, mystical woman and by the message of this song: the fear and doubt that comes with facing the impermanence of our lives. In our time together and through her death, Kristine empowered me as a woman and taught me how to fearlessly face the truth of impermanence. I hope this song can inspire the same for you :)
