Northbound traffic will use the inside northbound lane. MidAmerican Energy will be performing utility work which is anticipated to be finished by the evening of May 21, 2014. Drivers are urged to use caution and reduce their speed while travelling near the construction area. Temporary Access Roadway Ellis Road and 41st Street On Monday, May 19, 2014, traffic was shifted to temporary driving lanes for northbound and southbound traffic. This will allow for construction of the east half of the 41st Street and Ellis Road intersection. Ellis Road will remain open for northbound, southbound and westbound traffic. The speed limit has been reduced to 20 miles per hour in the work zone area. These temporary driving lanes will be in place until mid-August. The 41st Street Reconstruction Project from Ellis Road to Sertoma Avenue is anticipated to be substantially complete in late November 2014. Drivers are urged to use caution and reduce their speed while travelling near the construction area and may want to consider alternate routes.
