Language warning is right- Id probably have some more choice words to say myself. This is exactly why Im interested in severe weather. Why did this guy not take cover sooner? How many others in these storms path did the same (minus video cameras; how many were fatalities because)? Ive noticed that the National Weather Service watches and warnings have become very in the now compared to what they used to be. Severe thunderstorm watches are not issued like they used to be anymore. Now- if your in a watch your damn close to being affected by a strong storm. If your in a warning your probably experiencing it. So...why do people still think that they are not that close? This video shows a strong tornado that appears to be a fair distance away, yet within about 30 seconds their house is completely destroyed. I just plead that if any of my family or friends hear of a WARNING of any kind, they take precautionary measures. If nothing happens, GREAT- You got lucky. Dont wait to see it for yourself; These things can move well in excess of 70+ mph towards you and flatten your place well before you can turn around to run down the stairs. Please, just be careful. Myself and countless others go out to try and warn you of what is to come and to give you minutes (not seconds) to head to your safe spot. If nothing happens, great. 15 minutes of taking shelter from a possibly deadly storm is time well spent in the grand scheme of things, if you ask me.
