Large groups of us can defeat large toothed animals. All together we can burn dead plants and use the burning dead plants to spin iron harvested from holes we dug to spin round tubes of stuff made of more dead plants and move ourselves around. Were proud of our cars. We used a giant bomb once to just barely break a few dudes loose of our weak gravity field on our little pebble of a planet and hit a rock just a few miles away. Were proud of our ability to blow stuff up productively instead of using that power to blow up other members of our species like we usually do. We hold weekly conventions where we repeat phrases, trying to convince ourselves that we are ants, and that theres a big boot that could crush us, but loves us, so it chooses not to. Except sometimes, when it commands floods to appear and drown some of us. Carl Sagan called it a pale blue dot I think thats pretty accurate.
