Large post: Lots of people have been enquiring as to what happens next? Well some residents have expressed an interest in having sign boards erected in their own gardens showing their support for the NO Campaign with a message to leave Low Fell alone. The signs would create far greater public awareness of the plans to ruin Low Fell for the residents and to the dangers ahead of driving more traffic into the side streets and past our local schools. It will show Gateshead Council that the residents of Low Fell are united in their efforts to put a permanent halt to these terrible ideas. A local resident who has many years’ experience in sign erecting is offering to take delivery of a supply of professional boards and posts and to erect them in the gardens of those residents who are happy to show their solidarity to this campaign. The signs will be of the exact same size of those that you see when a home owner is advertising their house for sale. The cost of £12.00 to supply the professionally designed printed board and post would have to be passed on to each resident who agree to have one erected in their garden. We would expect each resident to keep the board up in their garden for the duration of the campaign until Gateshead Council scrap these ideas. The cost per household has been calculated on at least 100 boards being printed should we have such a great demand for lot’s more than 100 we may be able to get the cost per household reduced. It’s actually quite reasonable if you look at how much our homes could be devalued if no one wants to live in central Low Fell if this chaos is allowed to be created. Come on Low Fell residents let’s all show we mean business and agree to this plan as being our next step. Wouldnt it be fantastic to have Durham Road, Dryden Road, Kells Lane, Cleasby Gardens, Thornlea Gardens, Stratford Gardens, Denewell Avenue, Musgrave Road, Joicey Road, The Gardens, Beaconsfield Road etc etc all covered with the same message. Once we see the appetite for this idea we will update you if its going ahead and the next step. PLEASE REGISTER YOU INTEREST IN THIS.
