Large volcanic eruption ongoing in Iceland, now covers over 35 square miles in fresh lava. New flyover out this week seen here shows massive volumes of lava flowing from the fissure which formed on the flank of Bardarbunga volcano. https://youtube/watch?v=fthBxFsB7GI The fissure is spreading as the area collapses, and the magma chamber physically moves along the rift zone. The area has subsided by over 120feet ! This means a collapse of the glacier (ground beneath) is underway. If the surface does fully collapse (as the professionals are saying could be one possible scenario) then were looking at a larger explosive eruption, not just this current fissure/rift event. In itself, its something we havent seen in modern times, this large of an above sea area being covered with fresh lava is something for the history books. https://youtube/watch?v=fthBxFsB7GI
