Larry you really need to look closely at Pauls letters. Peter said they can lead to your destruction. They are not easy to understand. Luther made a huge mistake in not properly understanding and differentiating the difference between mosaic law of the flesh including circumcision new moons and Sabbaths sacrificing bulls and goats. .and the laws that effect grace for eternal reward. The mystery of this was in the mosaic law of not touching dead flesh and having to be purified after. The law of sin is the law of Dead flesh. Most of these are the laws of grace in the commandments. Now that grace came at Pentecost these laws are no longer a yoke of burden because they are fulfilled in the love of Christ. When we are baptized we are cleansed of all sin original and active. We have been saved by grace and washed in the blood of the Lamb with a sprinkling of blood which speaketh better than that of Abel. We are no longer under the mosaic law of sin and we are no longer servants but friends. We are also family. We are made heirs to the promise of Abraham because we have been baptized into Christ Jesus. In 2 Peter 1 Peter tells us we can loose this election if we do not remain in a state of grace. Paul says Christ will come and judge everyone according to their works Romans 2 Christ says I will come and judge everyone according to their works Revelations 22 In Titus 3 Paul tells us that we are not saved by are works but have been given grace and saved through the laver of regeneration. It is not our works that destroys original sin but baptism. In Ephesians 5 he explains that the bride is washed and sanctified in the Laver of regeneration. Grace given freely and instantaneous is baptism into Gods church which makes you one of the elect. It is the mystical body of Christ perpetuated through time by the sacraments. This grace can be lost through falling out of grace in mortal sin or habitual sin. He that knows the right thing to do and does not do it for him this is sin The wages of sin is death. I chastised my body into submission. .. There was no once saved always saved before Luther. It is a tradition of man. Whats right is wrong whats up is down.
