Last April, my astronomy club and the local public Library system held the first Yuris Night in our community. When the library told me they would be bringing the book mobile, I decided to to take advantage of the situation and pay homage to the oldest tradition in manned space flight. After explaining the tradition of Wetting the Tyre, I gave the kids a squirt gun and let them go at it. They loved it and their parents laughed their faces off! I got to go first.
