Last April, our dog Toby woke up having a heart attack. I tried to help him as much as I could but to no avail, he slipped away from us a few long minutes later. It was very hard and sad for our family to deal with. I often felt like no one really knew what it felt like. If you lose a human companion its a huge deal of course. Everyone mourns and cries with you, its tragic! But you hear of someone losing a pet and your like, oh thats so sad, Im sorry. So I wanted to create this page to provide a space where people can mourn their pets with people who truly get it. I wanted to create a community of people who will never forget their best friends. So share your stories, you heart aches, pictures, anything animal related that might warm the heart of someone going through period of loss.... lets honor the brave souls who protected and loved us unconditionally till their last breath.
