Last Friday, October 24, 2014, a silly love song came to life. Her face is the plumpest asado siopao. She smells of the sweetest juices of the ripest yellow mangoes. Her slender legs remind one of succulent vienna sausages. And the red of her skin is that of the grandest... Jolly Spaghetti. All of which remind Chay Florencio of the best gastronomical bits of her pregnancy. But what mattered most was in spite of the challenges of a 25-hour labor, and an uneventual emergency CS Operation, was the love that bound her and Karlu Florencio. That which, against all odds, helped this verse grow a little bit better. And a Matilda Allegra (literally taken to mean Fighterwho is Happy) was all it took.
