Last Friday, the Egyptian authorities ordered the immediate closure of the Rafah Crossing. The entering of food, medicine or material into Gaza has completely stopped. Al-Shifa Hospital, the main hospital in Gaza, has been forced to stop catering meals for its patients. More than 20,000 homes in Gaza need urgent reconstruction, because tens of thousands of residents are still homeless. (whilst Israel is constructing tens of thousands settler-buildings on palestinian land) Winter is arriving, without shelter, food and medicine, great part of the Gaza people will not survive, first of all the children.
