Last Monday July 21 my nephew Mark David Jenkins posted he was looking for a male german shepherd puppy. He is in the Air Force in Okinawa Japan at the end of August he will be home with Medical Retirement at the young age of 21. Being involved in rescue and having many friends in the rescue world I put the word out and my friends Nathan Menken, Diane Henry, Shannon Jeffcoat Thompson and Cheryl Petges reminded me of Nick. Nick and his sister are currently being fosted by Cheryl in Wichita Falls, TX. They were rescued from a very bad situation. David fell in love with Nick and it became official last night that Nick is his! Shannon and I will be setting up transport with our volunteer transports groups, Rescue Puppies on the Move and Kindred Hearts Transport Connection Shoppe. We could not be more excited to find Nick for Mark. Nick will be coming from TX to OH. If you have never been involved in rescue or transporting, it is an amazing rewarding feeling. Congratulations David! Could not be more happy that I will be getting a new nephew!
