Last Night, during our Bible Study, those in attendance created what will be called our “Tool Time Ministry.” The only way to truly find contentment is to look around and become preoccupied with the well-being of others. At that point, we see how blessed we truly are and contentment cannot help, but come to life. So, we have decided to help those within our congregation who have needs that seem bigger than they are. Oh sure! We could just raise money and hire someone, but that does not seem very New Testament like. We have a better idea. We will raise the money, do the work ourselves, hang out with each other (aka fellowship), leave an impression on the neighbors and point all of the attention and glory toward God. Is that cool or what? Our first project will be Zayda’s front porch. Jon Rawls is the point person on this project. Please mark all financial gifts as “porch!” On November 15th, at 8:00 am, we will gather at Zayda’s home to make a difference. Directions will be provided at a later date. At this point, could you let me know if you plan on being involved?
