Last Night the Board of Ed meeting in Clifton ( which was unfortunately held on the same night as the REGULAR Clifton Council Meeting ) was PACKED and flowing out into the hallway.......2 major issues were being discussed.... the hiring of a new band Director and the possible firing of long time Para Professionals who are a VERY important part of the Staff....many many people spoke for hours and they were ALL well spoken and made their points...however I must comment on the Clifton HS students who voiced their concerns......what pride their parents and teachers along with myself experienced...each and every one of them was articulate..well prepared and genuine in their pleas to pick the best Director for their beloved Mustang Band.......WELL DONE STUDENTS !!!!!..and a special shout out to Caitlin White.....you expressed yourself in a way that made everyone in the audience and those watching on Channel 77...take notice of whats really going on....please keep up the great work you are doing for OUR students !
