Last Saturday 100 plus invited guests took the opportunity to celebrate 20 years of the Otago Central Rail Trail Trust. The Off The Rails team went to the dinner with a group of tourism operators from Naseby. We nearly didnt make it due to snow! We had a great dinner and had a chance to recognize the hard work of the trustees. Its been a memorable 20 years with the Otago trail being the pathfinder for so many other trails which have come on stream. Dick Tayler was an hugely entertaining after dinner speaker and auctioneer Bill Townsend then parted us from a few dollars - all for a good cause. It was also the opportunity to look to the future and to release the new brand. Cher Knights shared the work that had been done by the marketing group. We look forward to a bright future! Just a reminder that we are available to run tours through the winter wonderland. Our new weekender is on the way! (Ive just got to get around to putting it up on the website.) Give us a call.
