Last Saturday I woke up at 4:30 am to go to the Darlington shelter. The night before my husband asked why the hell would I drive a total of 4 hours to go to that shelter, I said because I can help and if I can make a small difference in saving one life, that will make it all worth it! Well, meet Juno! She wasnt on my list of dogs to take pictures. But I has finished my list and since I still had some time I asked for a dog that had been there for a while (as I know that dog would be the next on the kill list). This nice young person showed me Juno. A brindle pit mix, so I said lets do it she needs it - brindled are the same thing as black as far as being overlooked at shelters not to mention that she is a pit. We had a tough time getting her out of the kennel and when we put her in the interaction area she wouldnt move! All she did was shake so I thought, let me do a video because it will touch someone! So, I took a video with my Iphone of 19 secs that was viewed by over 12k ppl!!!! We all can make a difference, if we just try! If you cant foster and want to help there are many ways to do so, maybe a video of 19 secs on your Iphone will be the starting point to save a life!!!! Thanks to the 10000000 ppl that worked so hard to save her life, as always it takes a village!!! Lastly, please remember the power of sharing on FB the Ohio adopter was a share from a share of a share!!!!!
