Last Saturday night, after receiving a call from some concerned - TopicsExpress

Last Saturday night, after receiving a call from some concerned people, Tom headed to Shelton for an unknown kitty stuck high in a tree. He climbed up the tree in the dark, but the cat was extremely terrified and traversed across branches to an adjacent tree...and then kept climbing higher. Tom used his keen judgement of the situation and decided to come back during daylight. The next day, he found the cat back in the original tree, but as soon as he headed up the tree, the cat moved across the branches to another tree...and then up to the top. Tom tried to net the cat, but the cat slipped, dropped a few branches down, and then traversed across to two other trees. At this point, it was decided that we would give the cat a couple days to calm down; nobody knew if this cat was even tame or extremely feral. After about a day, Tom was called back as the meows were getting weaker and everyone was very worried about the survival of this cat. So, Tom headed up the tree again...this time trimming some key branches to prevent the cat from switching trees. As he climbed up, the cat also climbed up until they met at the 130ft. tree-top. This time, Tom was able to get close enough to touch the cat. To his surprise, the cat melted into his arms and the two quickly came down together. The people who called are caring for this cat now and searching for the owners. We are so happy they didnt give up for the 9 days that this cat was stuck and kept calling us to come back to help this cat.
