Last Sunday, Dr. David Brooks challenged the congregation to think - TopicsExpress

Last Sunday, Dr. David Brooks challenged the congregation to think of 7 things they are thankful for. I could think of a million things. He also said write it down. On Sunday I wanted to write down the seven generation of women that I am thankful for. Grandmother, mother, aunts, sister, cousins, nieces and most of all my wonderful daughter and granddaughter I though that was pretty ingenious. Well as the week went on I had modify or add. I am thankful that I work at St. Francis Cabrini Hospital and have been able to be available to take of care of my brother. Was not sure that I would have been thankful only a few weeks ago. Im grateful for friends who have comforted and encouraged. I thankful for God to give us hope and faith, for if we couldnt turn to God, who would we turn to. And most of all Im thankful for Ben Rougeou. He is my best friend, a wonderful husband and father and can hold me up when nothing else can. Dr. Brooks said to give a gift to someone we are grateful for. Well, I didnt get around to that because I would have to purchase too many gifts. Please accept my deep, heart felt thanks to everyone. Happy Thanksgiving, Cont to pray for our family.
