Last Sunday, I entertained an August Visitor who is a very close aide of Pst. Bakare and a good friend of mine in reality and also virtually on Facebook, at my office. He had read some of my questions and submissions about Buhari and so we talked about Nigeria, Buhari and 2015. It was a very Interesting conversation. I asked him to arrange a meeting with Pst. Bakare as I needed to discuss a few issues with him and he readily obliged. On the man Buhari, he echoed Bakares words and I quote, Of All men that I have interacted with, I have never met one more honest than Gen. Buhari. I think it is becoming clearer that Gen. Buhari is a leader of the highest ethos of integrity. It has been said over and again in prophetic quarters that Jonathans legacy and strange ordination as president, is primarily to federalize Nigeria and this is the unfurling mystery of his elevation. The catch 22 however is that If Buhari comes in as president, there will be great strides towards reestablishing a new national culture of discipline but will he allow Nigeria to be restructured as a true federalism? Lets discuss the issues. Would you prefer an honest president who will fight corruption sincerely but may not address the federalism issue or would you prefer a president who seems weak but will restructure Nigeria as a true federation allowing each unit develop at its pace?
