Last Sunday I was invited for sharing knowledge regarding Importance of Soil Analysis, How to Select Area for Taking a Soil Sample, How to Take a soil sample, How to mix the soil and take one Representative Soil Sample for Testing by One of Himachal Pradeshs Leading Apple Grower Sh. Vikram Singh Rawat at Pangna, Karsog , Mandi Himachal Pradesh. I was happy to meet the growers and he specially invited to see his Orchard & Nursery. I have visited more than 400 orchards last year but the way this orchard has been Planned and New Apple Varieties planted on various Root Stocks..is AMAZING. I would like to call it East Mulling of India. Any apple grower in Himachal Pradesh, Jammu & Kashmeer, Uttranchal or in any North Eastern States...They Must Visit this orchard once in their lifetime...Especially younger generation of the growers must visit. We are lagging behind a lot and if someone want to match with the world in apple cultivation...pls Visit Kalasan Nursery Farm before getting engaged in Apple Farming....My request to All young HDO of Himachal Pradesh...They must take farmers on State level tours or Inter Distt. level Tours to Kalasan Nursery Farm. This farm has an Audi Vedio Training Room where each one can learn a lot.
