Last Thursday, Matthew & Lees ferret named Bonnie passed away suddenly. Lee tried reviving her with CPR but she didnt make it. Bonnie was a Canadian ferret who we formally adopted last year. On Friday, we received a call about a stray that was hit by a car. We were willing to do what we could to save this ferret through our medical fund, but unfortunately, the ferret didnt make it. Lee named the ferret Herne. On Monday, we lost 2 ferrets. Angel was surrendered because the owners werent able to take care of her medical needs. Angel had a tumor growing out of her vulva and was in extreme pain and suffering. She was freed from her suffering at Homestead Animal Hospital. That same day, we lost Sly, whos tumor on his shoulder had grown to the point where he could no longer walk or eat. Today, when we arrived from work, we found Pippin had passed away. He was a permanent resident with advanced Adrenal Disease and was blind. We want to thank Bob & Tiffany who were Pippins DreamAngels and Jennifer for being a DreamAngel for Sly. Losing 5 ferrets in 6 days is very difficult for us here at Ferret Dreams. We will continue to try to help and save every ferret that comes our way.
