Last Thursday night I was coming from a jam session that Jahruba Lambeth had. I came up Sunnylane and turned onto Reno and lo and behold the next thing I know a deer is right in front of my car. (He came from the left and having no vision in my left eye there was no peripheral action happening)He just jumped in front of my car and I still had time to think Damn,that sure is a big ass deer Right before I hit his big ass.I didnt stop but just drove on home.I said to myself.Hope its not too much damage and I hope that deer is alright.I got home,looked, and said Oh dear. After ascertaining that I was OK,Mechelle said Well, Ill guess well see just how good our insurance is. Im just glad that he didnt flip up into and thru my windshield.Ive seen that happen to folks. Im listening to Soul Town on Sirius XM and life is good. Ill be at VZDs tonight sitting in with Jahruba.Somehow thats sounds a lot better than laying up in a funeral home as a result of a deer hit. As I said.....Life is good. Oh yeah... Have a great day.
