Last Tuesday (09 December) The Free Word Centre in London in association with The Reading Agency and their Chatterbooks Group played host to the launch of the fifth book in a series from ShelterBox: The Day the Wind Blew. The front cover of the book was illustrated by Michael Foreman and the pictures inside the book are provided by the winners of the illustration competition which was launched to all Primary Schools in the UK. The Winners and Highly commended pupils featured in the book are from all over the UK - from Scotland to Cornwall and even from a UK Primary school in Germany for children of the Forces. One of the winners will be coming with their Father who only recently returned from Afghanistan. The theme for the final competition in the series, which we will be launching in February 2015, is volcanoes. Stay tuned for more information and well done to everyone involved in this year’s book.
