Last day of the year! Top 3 blessings of this year (not in any particular order): 1. The Lord commanded me to do a work to fulfill a purpose in Him. Hope to complete this during the first part of this year. 2. Our 7th child was born on December 30 of this year. From oldest to youngest: Nephi, Lehi, Ruth, Moroni, Rachel, Mary, and Mormon. 3. I received a kidney transplant in August of this year. Top 3 sorrows of this year (not in any particular order): 1. I confronted someone who committed credit card fraud. He became belligerent and would not respond to persuasion. I then got the police involved, and the person then realized the severity of what he had done. The officer could have arrested him, but decided to take my input into consideration. Things were worked out with the credit card companies, and the person repented. 2. I confronted someone who was embezzling funds from many of my friends. This person became belligerent and refused to repent. With the law staring at this person in the face, this person decided to make restitution during the first part of next year. If this person does not follow up on this, the full weight of the US law will come down on this persons head. Originally, I was going to let it go with myself taking the financial hit on behalf of my friends, but this person became very belligerent, even de-friending me in Facebook. Hence, due to this belligerence, I then asked for a letter of apology with myself taking the financial hit, but this person didnt like this idea due to the possibility of lawsuits from my friends... 3. I have not told my parents about the birth of Mormon. Things are still not completely right between them and my family due to my faith in Christ. During past births, we received criricism from my parents, thinking that we ought not to have more children, even to the point where my Dad refused to acknowledge the existence of the 6th child (as an example).
