Last evening, I received what was very clearly a push poll phone - TopicsExpress

Last evening, I received what was very clearly a push poll phone call in opposition to Colorado Amendment 66. When I questioned the caller, I was sure I heard her quickly claim to be a representative of the independent Aspen Institute. I answered a few of the questions, but then the caller got kind of testy when I expressed my opinion that her allegedly unbiased poll was nothing more than an attempt to foist a biased opinion on me. I must admit, I got a little testy myself. After I hung up on her, I called back the number on my caller ID. The number lead directly to Aspen Media and Market Research, a private telemarketing agency with apparently a somewhat less than stellar business reputation in the region and no apparent connection to the actual Aspen Institute. I wonder what “unbiased” political organization has paid a sleazy telemarketing outfit to sabotage Amendment 66?
