Last evening Livia and I discussed Villa Borghese and she showed me pictures and told me what to look for at the museum. These discussions of art , history , politics, films and Rome that we have every evening (along with the special dinners cooked for me so lovingly ) enlightens me and makes my stay here so different from any other tourist who visit Rome. Then the most interesting part of my visit to Rome is meeting the wonder lady Aunt Vittorina... she is 93 , stronger and more informed than many young people... as Livia says she is part of the History of Rome. I am glad I took her advice and stayed back in Rome all the 10 days with a promise to come back and see all the other towns and countryside next year. And now I am waiting outside Gallery Borghese .... my ticket is for 1pm...
