Last flight on the B747-400... An era has come to an end. After bouncing all over the world since Jan 1998, My freight Dog days have ended. Did my last landing in Miami today. Over 8000 hours of flying heavy metal all over the world has been fun and rewarding. Seen more in an average month than most people get to see in a lifetime. I was Looking to the future and trying to see where I want to be 10 years from now. need more quality of life, a more stable lifestyle to finish up my career. So, next Monday, August 4th, I have excepted a position with Spirit airlines based in Ft. Lauderdale. Excited as the future there looks great and I will be part of company with tremendous growth and excitement. Looking forward to schedules that mostly go on time and even the most unpleasant red eye flight is nothing nothing compared to what I have been dealing with for over 16 years :-) Many people to thank for help and support over all these years, many great people I will miss, we all became family as we spent a large portion of our lifes together. Stay in touch, I may come to an airport in your home town one day, and as alway, a cold beer and time to catch up would be great...
