Last installment of Observations from Starbucks: 1) The little older lady sitting beside me was too cute until she opened a can of TUNA FISH to eat with her morning coffee. She whipped out a can opener from her purse and peeled the lid back and ate it with a fork. She also belched when she was finished. 2) People who wear their sunglasses on the back of their necks are just strange to me. How is that comfortable? Or even practical? And its overcast outside. SMH All of the above were pretty calm and I contemplated not even writing about them. Until this.... 3) Dear mid-40s couple at the table near the window, if you must canoodle, fine. I get that youre in love or lust or just extra horny in the morning and coffee makes you randy, but I had to witness your TONGUES touching and little bits of saliva stringing together when you pulled away. And you both kept your eyes open while you were French-kissing in a public place. The best part, though, was when the little girl next to you turned to her Mommy and said in a whisper, Mom, do you think they should do that in their bedroom? and Mom almost yelled, YES. We all do. She wins the award today. And thats it folks. My last morning observing the folk who frequent the local Starbs. I like the drive thru.
