Last night, Amy and Anna attended the Worlds Biggest Dinner Party - TopicsExpress

Last night, Amy and Anna attended the Worlds Biggest Dinner Party to raise funds to help Umoja, an orphanage in Kenya, to break the cycle of poverty. Amy has been facilitating the Academy for Young Entrepreneurs program for students at Mitchelton State School. This program allows students to dream, invent and change their world by creating micro businesses that invest in pathways out of poverty for children around the world. The students have been selling scones, brownies, fudge and muffins on Blackwood Street to raise funds for Umoja. I am pleased to say that the students raised a total clear profit of $296.10 – a grand effort. It was my pleasure to present this cheque last night on behalf of the students and Picabeen Community Centre to Umoja.
