Last night, Chris Shepherd & his Underbelly team challenged Coltivare to complete the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge. The challenges purpose is to raise awareness of amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, also known as Lou Gehrig’s disease, a disease that affects nerve cells in the brain and the spinal cord. Coltivare & Revival Market Co-Owner & Chef Ryan Pera, along with the kitchen team at Coltivare, welcomed the challenge with gusto. Although donating $100 would have been the penalty for failing to complete the challenge, Chef Ryan both completed the challenge & made a donation. Now, Coltivare challenges Saint Arnold Brewing Company, Triniti Restaurant & Pax Americana. Fellow restaurants, you have 24 hours to complete the challenge!
